What makes the East End different?
The East End covers two ZIP codes. Around the State Capitol (25305) are the Capitol Complex, part of the East End, Loudon Heights and Hillcrest. To the north and east (25311) are the rest of the East End and neighborhoods such as Woodbridge, Airport Village near Yeager Airport, Blackhawk, Twomile, Snow Hill, Etowah, Riverview, Meadowbrook and Terrace Park, along with the area around Coonskin Park.
Much of the East End near Kanawha Boulevard is made up of older homes, many with plaster walls, original hardwood floors, detailed woodwork and full basements.
